Here are some of our best tips and tricks for eco-friendly spotless baseboards:

Regular Cleaning

Use a microfiber cloth, duster, or a vacuum cleaner with a brush attachment to regularly remove dust and cobwebs from your baseboards. You could also use a Dryer sheet to wipe your baseboards with. They help to repel dust and keep your baseboards cleaner for longer.

Deep Cleaning

Warm Soapy Water: Mix a few drops of dish soap with warm water. Use a sponge or cloth to gently scrub the baseboards. Rinse with clean water and dry with a towel.

Vinegar Solution: Create a solution of equal parts white vinegar and water. This works well for cutting through grime and disinfecting. Wipe with a cloth dampened in the solution and dry thoroughly

Baking Soda Paste: For tough stains, make a paste using baking soda and water. Apply the paste to the stained area, let it sit for a few minutes, then scrub gently with a soft brush or cloth. Rinse and dry.

Magic Erasers: Use a Magic Eraser to remove stubborn stains and scuff marks. Be gentle to avoid removing paint.

Specialized Tools and Techniques

Extendable Dusters: Use an extendable duster to reach baseboards in hard-to-reach areas without bending or stooping.

Vacuum with Attachments: Use the crevice tool or brush attachment on your vacuum cleaner to remove dust and dirt from baseboards.

Sock Over a Broom: Put an old sock over the end of a broom handle, spray it with a cleaning solution, and use it to wipe down the baseboards without bending over.

You can use these hacks and tips to keep your baseboards looking tidy, clean, and fresh with minimal effort.
